Rockrimmon has several clubs to select from during the school year for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The following clubs are just a few that might be offered during a school year. Not all clubs are offered each year and to every grade.
Artie Smarties: This exciting club for 5th graders allows students to express themselves through Art.
Boys Who Build: 3rd through 5th grade students collaborate and build challenges in Minecraft EDU.
Chess: 2nd through 5th grade students learn to play chess with others and have the opportunity to participate in a district-wide tournament.
Choir: 4th and 5th grade students participate in a choir program before school once or twice a week and may perform additional times during the school year.
eS2S Leadership Club: Elementary Student 2 Student is a weekly leadership club. Projects and activities will be incorporated that support growing leaders and school connection. Students in grades 3rd through 5th, that are new to Rockrimmon or have family members that are active in the military, are welcome to join.
Girls Who Code: 3rd through 5th grade girls participate in coding, computer science, and building a sisterhood community at Rockrimmon.
Health and Wellness: Clubs focused on physical activites are offered throughout the year.
JR. UN: Selected 5th grade students participate in this JR United Nations student leadership program one morning per week to learn leadership skills, be active ambassadors within the school, and take responsibility for reporting actions to their classrooms.
Sprouts Naturalists: Members meet once a week to plant, cultivate, and learn gardening tips.
