Caring Connections

Rockrimmon educators build an engaging learning environment with input from students, their families, and our community. This positive environment begins with our commitment to developing lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and students who can collaborate effectively. Staff build strong relationships with students and support their individual learning needs.

Custom Coursework

At Rockrimmon, teachers develop IB planners that are transdisciplinary and incorporate learning from multiple subject areas. These planners are based on Colorado state standards and the principles of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. Teachers enhance the curriculum with hands-on learning by bringing together custom resources rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all textbook.

Coursework and activities are designed to teach lifelong skills such as:

  • Critical thinking
  • Reflection
  • A love of learning
  • Being open-minded

Global Perspectives

Rockrimmon students gain real-world knowledge and skills through the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. They begin to understand their role in the global community by learning about languages and cultures, researching world issues, taking action to solve local problems, and learning to respect differences.
