Rockrimmon Elementary has been a wonderful place for our daughter to learn and grow. One of the key features that initially drew us to the school was how seamlessly social-emotional learning is integrated into daily academics.
Through its IB (International Baccalaureate) program, students are encouraged to think globally, learning how their individual choices impact the wider world—a philosophy that helps shape responsible, successful adults.
The entire Rockrimmon staff—from teachers and paraprofessionals to the administration—is genuinely dedicated to the success of every student. This includes two full-time counselors who work with students both in the classroom and individually as needs arise. They equip students with practical tools to manage interpersonal conflict and achieve peaceful resolutions. Learning to communicate their needs and feelings in a meaningful, empathetic manner at such an early age is an invaluable life skill.
Furthermore, Rockrimmon hosts many engaging events throughout the year that foster a strong sense of connection among students and families. One of our absolute favorites is World Tour Day, where classrooms are transformed into different countries, allowing students to explore diverse cultures in a fun, immersive way.
